I can't wait, we have been training hard over the last month or so and everyone is itching to get back into competitive action.
JP
What about you personally though? This is your first professional pre-season ahead of a competitive season, how does it feel?
TT
It has been tough, not used to all this running but it can only hold us all in good stead. All the lads have done really well, the manager (Greg Abbott) has said how much fitter we look this season and hopefully it will bode well for the rest.
JP
It has been a big summer for you because I noticed in pre-season your passing seems to have come on leaps and bounds, have you been working on that?
TT
I have been trying to work on all aspects of my game. It is important that you try to add something different, so I am going to try to add some goals. I am not promising anything but I have been working hard on that. It has come with more experience with positional sense, Graham Kavanagh has obviously played a massive part in that and I appreciate him taking the time out to help me.
JP
And you seem to be playing in the diamond at least in more of an advanced role, how are you enjoying that rather then being the man that just knocks seven bells out of people at the back? Not that that is a bad thing.
TT
It is good because it means I can try to express myself a little bit more, I am not just there to knock people over. It adds something to my game as well and it doesn't just improve me, it improves the team as well.
