How do the players feel after a result like that?
TT
Everyone is over the moon, it is great to get that win and build on last week.
JP
It is such a good performance though against such a good team, and is this the confidence booster that everyone really needed here?
TT
We have all been quietly confident, every week in training we have applied ourselves, worked hard and this is just what comes of hard work.
JP
But when you are not quite picking up the results, it can be frustrating and it can knock you just a little bit, how did it feel to actually put it all together and in such a profound way against such a good side?
TT
It is brilliant but we have always been confident, the manager (Greg Abbott) has always instilled confidence in us and this wasn't just the players doing today. It was the backroom staff as well who keep us going and keep us motivated.
JP
I actually saw a first today, I think you missed one tackle in the match today which I was quite concerned about, was that a concern for you as well?
TT
It is obviously a side of my game that I really enjoy and I hopefully I won't miss many more.
JP
But you were also involved more than just in the tackling side of things in the creative part of the game. A lot of fans have said that he is the destroyer in the midfield but you can't pass it so far, and I am sure you would have agreed with that in your first couple of games. But that is really something you have clearly been working on?
TT
It is about a balance of midfield, I have got Graham Kavanagh next to me who is very experienced and a quality player as he showed today. He has been working with me and hopefully it is paying off.
JP
It really is, what do you make of working alongside a player like him who has done it all, seen it all in his career and he has certainly done it today with two fine strikes.
TT
He is brilliant, he looks after me, he takes me after training to work on all parts of my game and I am really grateful to have him next to me.
JP
Clearly your future, where it will be, whether it will be away from Stamford Bridge is one that is of major debate for Carlisle United fans. In particular given the fact that Chelsea are currently banned from making any signings I think until January 2011. Is there anything you can tell us on where you may be beyond Christmas which is when your loan runs out?
TT
Nobody has spoken to me from Chelsea, obviously they have kept in touch seeing how my games are but nobody has spoken about a new contract or anything else. So I am just going to focus on getting points for Carlisle and trying to play well myself.
JP
And I am sure as a player who enjoys it every time he takes the field, you enjoy it more though when you can beat a side like Charlton 3-1.
TT
Definitely, you saw the lads at the end and how much it meant to them, so we are really pleased.
JP
And is it nice as well, just finally, to come off to such a rapturous round of applause and a standing ovation essentially from your home supporters?
TT
Yeah, they are brilliant you know, people talk about the 12th man and how much the fans can have an effect and they really spurred us on today.
