Glovers manager Russell Slade spoke to BBC Radio Somerset about his side's 4-1 defeat at Brunton Park this afternoon, Slade suggesting that Carlisle's second goal came against the run of play :
" Carlisle is always a difficult place to come for sure, but we got ourselves in a good situation. There was not too much happening really during the first period and there weren't too many chances. But we managed to get a goal and Carlisle only really began to put pressure on us during the five minutes before half-time.
" Unfortunately, there were too many crosses coming in and then inevitably they got themselves in a good situation and got themselves an equaliser just before half-time. That was a great tonic for them to be honest.
" We came out in the second-half and I thought we were excellent for the first ten minutes. I thought we should have taken the lead but it didn't happen and against the run of play, Carlisle got their second goal. What then really went on and killed us was a bit of a rash challenge really through Lee Peltier for the penalty and at 3-1 that is a mountain to climb. "
