Glovers manager Terry Skiverton spoke to BBC Radio Somerset after his side's 1-0 defeat against Carlisle at Brunton Park, Skiverton first praising United's recent home form :

" I think sometimes you have got to be a little bit humble, Carlisle haven't got to a major final for nothing, I think they are a real good side at home. I think teams who have come here, like MK Dons recently have come here and got an absolute hiding 5-0, so we knew we were coming to a tough place tonight. Greg (Abbott) has got them very well organised, they are a good side.

" We said tonight it was going to be a bit of a scrappy game, we were a little bit more defensive tonight and we said a moment of quality would win the game for either side. It came from the lad (Adam Clayton), the ball has dropped down on the edge of the box and he chested it up and absolutely dipped it in the top corner.

" So we have got no grumbles tonight, they are a good side. We came here quite confident off the back of our last performance but it is still a little bit of an away game headache that we keep having. It is going to build it up now for a real humdinger of a game against Bristol Rovers at home.

" Clayton is on loan from Manchester City and he has got that quality, he just sits in front of the back four and he gets the ball and he sprays it around. So for us we knew that he could be a bit of a dangerman, and I think that Alex (McCarthy) has come and got a decent-ish punch on it although we were hoping it had gone a little bit further.

" The people on the edge of the box we thought might have got out there a little bit quicker but you can't take anything away from the goal when people strike the ball like that. I don't think there were many other chances but I said it was going to be a tight game based on that one moment.

" I think it came to us in the first-half when Dean Bowditch went clean through and the keeper (Adam Collin) made a decent save off him and that seemed to be our only chance tonight. Most of the play was in the middle third and I thought both teams were a little bit cagey but it was still a decent spectacle in the end. "

" It was quite tough but the pitch was flat, the pitch was alright tonight. It is a little bit different, the ball is not going to skid through and you can start playing and switching the ball which we didn't do well enough tonight. But it was good to see Scott Davies, I thought he came in and played well, people that hadn't been on the outskirts like Scott Murray came in and did a good steady job.

" It was also a chance for me to have another look at Andy Welsh and Arron Davies later on in the game. So for me the positives that have come out are that we have come here on the back of a tough thing, it is a long journey and we have come out by the odd goal and we were in the game for large periods. So I am not too disappointed tonight but it puts a little bit more pressure on the weekend again.

" Scott Davies has just turned up on the back of not even training with us and came straight into the game so I thought he put a good shift in today. Getting Scott Davies in was more to do with the JP (Jean-Paul Kalala) thing because we had to try to keep it under our hats a little bit but we knew that he was missing and we knew that this was trying to go through.

" So we didn't want to let anything out of the bag until everything got signed. We are trying to bring in another lad, hopefully we can get the paperwork signed tomorrow to bring a young lad in from Arsenal and we will see if we can get the paperwork done tomorrow.

" I thought that people like Shaun MacDonald were absolutely outstanding again and I thought we defended well. I think the back four defended very well again. So it is disappointing not to come out with a point from the game but sometimes you have got to look at those little moments of quality and stand back and applaud those and say good luck to them in the final. "
