Alsager Town`s unbeaten away record in the UniBond League Division One faces its sternest examination when they visit leaders Eastwood Town on Saturday. Assistant-manager Dorian Garner will again be in charge while Greg Clowes delays his return from illness, and Alsager could take the wraps off newcomer Ryan Hevicon (pictured).

The left-sided player, who is a student at Alsager-based MMU Cheshire, arrives at the club with an excellent pedigree. The speedy winger started his career at Blackburn Rovers and then had a spell with Carlisle United, where he was signed after being released by Rovers in the summer of 2002.

He signed for Mossley in September 2002 from Altrincham and then switched to Trafford in January 2003 before becoming one of the first to sign for the new FC United of Manchester in the summer of 2005.
