The 28-year old striker scooped a bumper six awards of the ten available to him on a thoroughly enjoyable awards evening. Miller taking home player of the season awards from and for CUFC Online, the Carlisle United Supporters Club London Branch, the Carlisle United Supporters Trust, the Carlisle United Players' Player, and the Fans' Player of the 2011-12 campaign. Miller finally also earning the the Peter Jackson the Jeweller player of the season trophy having notched up the most man-of-the-match awards from this season's home games
Aside from Miller it was another Scot, in Jon-Paul McGovern, who took home the Carlisle United community player of the season award, a new award created this year, for his work in the community in and around Carlisle this season. Adam Collin meanwhile also earning a gong as the Blues goalkeeper picked up the Carlisle United Supporters Club away player of the season thanks to some excellent performances on the road.
Peter Murphy another award winner as he took home both the BBC Radio Cumbria Derek Lacey Award, with special recognition paid by James Phillips towards Murphy's record breaking outfield player appearances exploits this season, while Murphy was also presented with a special award from the Away Fans Travel for his efforts for Carlisle United over his near eleven year Blues career.
In the youth ranks then it was two second-year YTS players who have both earned one-year professional contracts taking the gongs as central midfielder Josh Todd won the trophy for youth player of the season and frontman Mark Beck grabbed the award as most improved youth player, with youth boss Eric Kinder sticking a nod in that direction towards Beck's recent debut at first team level.
Liam Noble meanwhile won the only other trophy that was available, that being the Goal of the season award that was voted for on the night by the 350 or so present. Noble's piledriver in the 4-1 home win over Bury in early March ending up as the victor there as it knocked Lee Miller's winning header against Huddersfield down into second place in a tight tussle for top spot. The final point of note on the evening being the handing over of a cheque to Andrew Jenkins for £5,000, raised in their Shine The Light appeal, from the Carlisle United Supporters' Club London Branch.
