He joined Blackwell in taking the first full-training session of the new Luton regime at the club's St Albans training base before the players were then put through their paces in an afternoon session at Kenilworth Road. Brian Stein was left to play a bit-part role, but Blackwell has insisted he will not be making any snap decisions over his backroom set-up just yet.
He said: "I've just brought in one or two lads to give a helping hand in the short-term and then I will reassess in the summer. There's only seven games left and we've got a lot to cram in. I want to make decisions for the long term of the club with a clear head rather than work in haste and repent at leisure."
