Carlisle United’s first team management and coaching staff, joined by chief executive Nigel Clibbens and director of football David Holdsworth, will be holding a Fans’ Forum on Friday 8 March 2019 [the night before the Swindon Town home game].
This event will be hosted by Carlisle United Supporters’ Groups (CUSG) in the Sunset Suite, where memorabilia from their fan-led project now adorns the walls.
The full panel will consist of Steven Pressley, Tommy Wright, Paul Murray, Craig Wight, Nigel Clibbens and David Holdsworth.
The event is free entry and will run from 6pm to 8pm [doors open at 5.30pm]. The bar will be open throughout for the sale of alcoholic and soft drink refreshments.
CUSG chairman Simon Clarkson said: “It’s been a rollercoaster of a season already, but there’s a real buzz around the club at the moment.
“Steven Pressley has built on the momentum and we’ve made some really exciting signings. It will be great for the fans to hear from him and from the rest of the football staff.
“There’s no doubt this event will very popular, so book early. For those who can’t make it in person, the event will be streamed live via the club’s Facebook page as this has proved to be a very popular method of providing coverage previously.”
We will be holding a collection on the evening for Jigsaw, Cumbria’s only children’s hospice. A raffle, with some fantastic prizes on offer, will also be held in aid of the same wonderful cause.
Places for the event must be booked via the Eventbrite booking page by clicking HERE. There is a maximum of four tickets available per order.
