Carlisle United midfielder Paul Murray is still waiting to find out the extent of his recent knee injury after a clerical error involving his surgeon. Dr Richard Steadman, an American knee injury expert who has operated on the likes of Michael Owen, has agreed to look over the 30-year-old's scans.
But physio Neil Dalton told Carlisle's website: "We sent him the scans but he had left for Europe and missed them. So we're waiting again. Once he can advises us we will take it from there." Murray, has been out of action since sustaining the injury in training on 22 September, but Dalton added: "Whatever Dr Steadman decides, Paul will not be going over to Colorado for surgery."
