The former Ards boss had only taken over the reins at the Lakeview Park club in late December following the departure of long standing manager Jim Gardiner. With the County Armagh club picking up just two points during Reddish's three month watch though the decision for a parting of ways was taken at a meeting between Reddish and chairman Alan Davison on Monday night.

Gardiner himself was dismissed in November after Loughgall endured a poor start to the league campaign which saw them fail to win any of their first nine games and the club are now certain to be relegated after only picking up a paltry six points from 25 Irish Premier League matches.

Reddish signed for Carlisle on a free from Doncaster Rovers in the summer of 1993 and went on to make 48 starts for the Cumbrians, plus five as an unused substitute, scoring just the one goal along the way in a 2-1 league defeat at Bury. He soon fell out of the first-team picture at Brunton Park though and eventually moved on to Chesterfield on loan for a month in September 1994 before eventually signing for Hartlepool on a free transfer at the end of November 1994.
