note 1 - Danny Graham - Football League tribunal on 6th August, Carlisle awarded £200,000 upfront, £30,000 for every 15 appearances Graham makes for Watford up to 75 appearances, plus £200,000 if Watford are promoted to the Premier League in the next three seasons to 2011/12, thus making a maximum possible deal of £550,000. Carlisle also awarded a 15% future sell-on clause.


note 2 - Cleveland Taylor - United receive no money upfront, but will get £5,000 for every 15 games he plays, up to a maximum of £20,000 for 60 games. Brentford must also pay Carlisle £5,000 if they survive in League One this season and another £5,000 if they avoid the drop next season, also if they are promoted this term they will owe United an additional £15,000. United also have a 15% future sell-on clause in place.


note 3 - Kevan Hurst - Up to £145,000 depending on appearances, £50,000 is dependent on achieving promotion within Hurst's contract.


note 4 - Richard Offiong - £75,000 fee, plus another £15,000 dependent on achieving promotion within Offiong's initial contract.


note 5 - Andy Cook - loan spell ended early on 16th November 2009 due to injury (broken bone in left foot).

note 6 - Jonny Blake and Conor Tinnion were released early in order to immediately sign, on non-league transfer deadline day, for Workington Reds on non-contract terms until the end of the current season
