Transfer-listed Rushden & Diamonds defenders PHIL GULLIVER and Sagi Burton have left the club. Gulliver, 26, has joined Southern Premier Division side Corby Town after making 132 appearances for the Diamonds over two spells. Thirty-year-old Burton has left the Blue Square Premier side by mutual consent after 11 games following his summer move. The pair were among eight players made available for transfer recently.




Hucknall Town could well have one new face on show for Saturday`s home Blue Square North League fixture with Kings Lynn. Director of Football, Bryan Chambers, confirmed today that RICHARD LIBURD has signed for the Club and will be available for selection. The 35 year old, who can play in Midfield or anywhere across the back, has extensive Football League experience having played for Middlesbrough, Bradford City, Carlisle United, Notts County and Lincoln City.



Meanwhile Joe Anyinsah is expected to have his loan spell at Brighton extended to a third and final month. The winger completes his second month at the Withdean after this weekend's fixtures and will begin a third month from Friday 21st November, so that he can be eligable for the Seagulls' JPT semi-final against Shrewsbury on December 16th.




STUART GREEN has moved to League One relegation battlers Crewe Alexandra on loan until December 21st. The midfielder joined The Seasiders from Crystal Palace back in January after 'Pool boss Simon Grayson had tracked him for a good year beforehand. However, the move hasn't worked out for either party, and it Green's future looks destined to be away from Bloomfield Road.



Hucknall bosses MICK GALLOWAY and Andy Miller have been sacked, replaced by Brian Chambers, who becomes the ninth manager in eight seasons.



Oxford City have snapped up 26-year-old free agent Phil Gulliver at Court Place Farm until January. The former Rushden & Diamonds defender was released at Nene Park earlier this month and had been with City's Southern League rivals Corby Town.



Worksop Town's newest additions have brought a breath of fresh air to the UniBond League Premier Division club, according to manager Peter Rinkcavage. Tigers signed classy midfielder and former Hucknall Town player-manager MICK GALLOWAY, along with centre backs Tom Jones and Karl Colley, before last Saturday's game at Witton Albion.



Southend United striker RICHIE FORAN'S loan at Darlington has been extended for a further month. The Irishman's loan at the League Two promotion chasers was due to expire at the end of the month. However, Quarkers boss Dave Penney has moved to extend the deal ahead of Thursday's deadline until 5th January 2009.



Aldershot left back Dean Howell has joined fellow Coca-Cola League Two side Bury on a one-month loan deal and goes straight into the Shakers' squad for their game at Accrington Stanley on Saturday (his 28th birthday).




Colchester have added a second fresh face to their squad on loan deadline day by bringing in Marc Tierney from Shrewsbury Town. After signing from Oldham, 23-year-old Marc has enjoyed a positive eighteen months with the Shrews, as he swept the board at last season's Player of the Year awards following the club's visit to Wembley in the Play-Offs.
