Carlisle's latest announced friendly came on Monday afternoon away to Hibs, with it being the usual mix of youth teamers and out of favour professionals on show, although Stephen O'Halloran and Andy Welsh both got 90 minutes in on their continued comeback from injury, Craig Curran though not featuring once more after suffering a very minor setback in his knee injury rehabilitation.

United then going the closest to grabbing a victory late on when both substitute David Symington and left-winger Welsh struck the home woodwork.
