Well, to put it mildly, there isn't exactly a lot to report this week with all four scheduled matches called off due to frozen pitches as winter finally comes to England with a vengeance. Carlisle's home game against Blackpool being postponed means that it is now almost two months since the Blues last played a league fixture, a raft of matches being called off now seeing United still have ten games left to play in just two and a half months.
They hopefully start that run of matches, as well as having youth and Cumberland Cup fixtures to fulfil, next Monday afternoon with an away game at Wrexham. A win for the Red Dragons at Buckley Town FC would see the Welshmen leapfrog the Cumbrians in the table and leave Carlisle second bottom in the table just nine months after they lifted the league winners trophy last season.
