Rochdale Reserves 2-0 United Reserves

Two youthful sides took to the field at Dark Lane, the home of Rossendale United this evening with the 'Dale going 1-0 up through a deflected strike, before scoring their second goal after what had looked to have been a clear foul on Blues centre-half Jamie Cleary in the build-up.

Ryan Bowman and Conor Tinnion both had chances to get themselves on the Cumbrians scoresheet with a header and cross-shot respectively but it was one of those nights, where despite a committed performance, a goal just wouldn't come for Carlisle. Next week the Blues are in action on Wednesday afternoon when they face a trip to Bury in a 2pm kick-off, the match being played at Stainton Park, Radcliffe Borough FC.
