Blackburn and Chelsea, with home games against Manchester United and Portsmouth respectively will begin that stage of the competition in 24 hours time with Rovers or United having picked up another tie in the final eight, against Preston or Everton, while Chelsea or Portsmouth will face a trip to either Liverpool or Watford.

The other two quarter-final ties have now paired up West Ham or Newcastle at home to Hull or Crystal Palace, while Aston Villa or Millwall have been drawn away to either Ipswich or Fulham. The first of those matches due to take place in about three weeks time once the fifth round stage of the competition has been completed.
