It was then 2-0 to the home side just six minutes later when Brad Potts gave away a free-kick and Sean Williams curled an excellent effort into the top corner of the Cumbrians net via the fingertips of Parker. Carlisle did pull a goal back ten minutes before the break though from their own set-piece which Steven Swinglehurst headed back into the path of Ben Mckenna for a well taken finish.
Dave Symington has shown the power in his right boot numerous times and he equalised for the young Blues on 53 minutes with a tremendously struck first-time volley. With Carlisle boss Eric Kinder making changes in the latter stages of the game as he looked towards next season, Stockport managed to nab two goals to take all three points courtesy of a 4-2 win.
County captain Andy Graham first heading past Parker from a free-kick, before Graham bagged his second goal of the game three minutes from time when he was brought down for a penalty by Symington which he converted himself. So, defeat on the road for Carlisle again but the away games don't stop there as next up comes Blackpool on Saturday morning.
