Of the third year players that were on the books at Carlisle only one of the four has been given a professional contract. Of the six second years, three have been released, two have been offered a further one year contract and one has been offered a six-month contract extension.
Third years
Dan Dillon (central midfielder) - released.
Pete Ferris (forward/right-winger) - was offered a one year professional contract in early November 2005 after injuring his knee against Preston reserves in late October of the year. Ferris has just been making his comeback from that lengthy lay-off recently.

Second years
Rob Bainbridge (centre-forward) - released
Matthew Bell (centre-half/left-back) - released after being plagued by injuries
Adam Bradley (goalkeeper) - offered a further one year contract
James Earl (central midfield) - offered a further six month contract
Martin Graham (right-back/defensive midfielder) - released
Dan Kirkup - (centre-half) - offered a further one year contract.
