The weather is officially getting very boring now as we tick into a third month of games being postponed due to frozen pitches, Carlisle now having remarkably only played two league matches since the 23rd of October. One game did manage to go ahead at the weekend however as Walsall leapfrogged Shrewsbury in the mid-table reaches thanks to a 4-0 home win over the Salopians.
The weather forecast does look to be easily warm enough this weekend for matches to go ahead, although some heavy rain on Thursday and Friday may yet cause a waterlogging problem. Hopefully that won't be the case up at Creighton Rugby Club at 11am on Saturday morning though as the young Blues prepare to face an in-form and free-scoring Rochdale side who currently sit third in the table only three points behind division leaders Port Vale.
