Despite having the week off Burnley are still at the top of the table but Bury have now joined them on two wins from two after winning 5-4 in an entertaining match at Accrington Stanley. Tranmere are now in third after their 3-1 success at home to Port Vale, while in fourth come Preston after they nicked a tight victory 1-0 away to Carlisle at Creighton Rugby Club, and completing the top five are Walsall after their 2-1 win at home to Shrewsbury.
Further down the table there was a cracking match at Wigan where Stockport just came out on top 6-5, while Morecambe and Rochdale picked up 2-1 and 4-1 home wins against Oldham and Blackpool respectively. The only draw in the division this week coming in North Wales where the game between Wrexham and Macclesfield finished 1-1. Next week for Carlisle sees yet another home game for the young Blues as this time they face Morecambe in an 11am kick-off at Creighton Rugby Club.
