Only three games played in the division on Saturday, but one of them cost Carlisle top spot in the table after the young Blues went down 2-0 at Preston, those two second-half goals for North End meaning they are now level on points with, but above United by one goal on goal difference. Rochdale meanwhile being another team on the move upwards as they now sit in fourth place after thumping Port Vale 4-0 at home.
Every game Bury try to play at the moment seems to be waterlogged off and that was no different on Saturday against Fleetwood, Morecambe though managing to get their home game with Accrington on, albeit to little excitement as it ended 0-0. The Shrimps next weekend on the road however as they take on Carlisle in an 11am kick-off at Creighton Rugby Club, with United looking to find some form again after losing two of their last three games.
