Player Movement :
Neil Thompson to Hull City, initially three weeks work experience from 17th August 2005 which was then extended on an ongoing basis. Thompson returned to Brunton Park on 10th October 2005.
Neil Thompson to Barrow AFC, one month work experience starting on 2nd December 2005, returned to Brunton Park on 3rd January 2006.
Neil Thompson to Bradford Park Avenue, ongoing work experience from 6th January 2006, returned to Brunton Park on 4th February 2006 for one youth team game, then immediately back out to Bradford Park Avenue. Thompson returned to Brunton Park, after two months at the Horsfall Stadium, in early March 2006. Thompson is now on work experience at Gateshead FC that started on the 31st of March 2006, the last day of the non-league transfer window.
Dan Dillon to Workington Reds, initially a one month loan from 12th August 2005, then extended to two months ending on 12th October 2005, was then ongoing under dual registration system, ended shortly before Christmas 2005. Dillon re-joined Workington Reds, for whom he had featured many times on loan, presumably on a more loan to permanent transfer basis, on the 23rd of March 2006.
Martin Graham to Workington Reds, one month loan from 12th August 2005.
N.B. Loan spell was ended early after two weeks.
Paul Gardiner to Gateshead FC, one month work experience starting in early January 2006, returned to Brunton Park on 31st January 2006 having made just two substitute appearances for the North-East club.
Rob Bainbridge to Northbank Carlisle, work placement to end of season starting on the 27th of March 2006.
Contract news :
Pete Ferris will transfer from a third year YTS contract to a one year professional contract with the club at the start of June 2006.
Paul Gardiner will be released by the club when his third year YTS contract finishes at the end of May 2006.
Neil Thompson will be released by the club when his third year YTS contract finishes at the end of May 2006.
Dan Dillon will be released by the club when his third year YTS contract finishes at the end of May 2006.
Rob Bainbridge will be released by the club when his second year YTS contract finishes at the end of May 2006.
Matthew Bell will be released by the club when his second year YTS contract finishes at the end of May 2006.
Martin Graham will be released by the club when his second year YTS contract finishes at the end of May 2006.
Adam Bradley will move on to a third year YTS contract when his second year one finishes at the end of May 2006.
Dan Kirkup will move on to a one year professional contract when his second year YTS one finishes at the end of May 2006.
James Earl will move on to a six month professional contract when his second year YTS one finishes at the end of May 2006.
Gary Baker decided to terminate his first-year YTS contract for personal reasons on the 10th of April 2006 and has left the club.
Matthew Brown will move from schoolboy forms to a two-year YTS contract on the 1st of July 2006.
Stephen Hindmarch will move from schoolboy forms to a two-year YTS contract on the 1st of July 2006.
Matthew Wood will move from schoolboy forms to a two-year YTS contract on the 1st of July 2006.
Dan Wordsworth will move from schoolboy forms to a two-year YTS contract on the 1st of July 2006.
