The Bees had a string of chances and it was no surprise when Bira Dembele scored with a towering header in the 30th minute from Luke Gambin's corner on the right
And a minute later Michael Gash made it 2-2 with another powerful header
The Bees were made to pay for some profligacy when Asamoah slid home his second in the 64th minute after fine work by Luke Joyce and Alexander McQueen
Dembele, who had thumped one first half header against the bar, was again denied by the woodwork as Barnet fought unavailingly to rescue a draw
